About Dj-vocalist Vika KovaBehind every good artist, there is a story and DJ Vika Kova’s story definitely deserves to be told. Everyone knows DJ Vika Kova who has been rocking the dance floors for some time now, but not everyone knows that she started out in 2001 as an MC/vocalist. Over the years she shared the stage with every “big boy in the business” such as Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Carls Cox, Bob Sinclar, Shape shifters, Freemasons, Fedde Le Grand and many more. Nowadays DJ Vika Kova is bringing you the best of both worlds when she gets behind the decks, with a mic just within her reach so she can empower her set with live vocals anytime she feels like it. Using her perfect sense of timing that she developed over the years of live MC-ing, she keeps her sets fresh and fun, stunning the crowd with her vocal skills when they least expect it. Born in Russia, she grew up in Germany and went back to Russia just to settle down in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) a couple of years later. No matter where she went though, music always remained a constant factor in Vika Kova’s life. Always supported by her parents, she graduated cum laude from the Music and Ballet Academy, followed by the prestigious Music Conservatory of Moscow. Today she’s playing the hottest parties at some of Holland’s finest clubs such as Paradiso, Panama and Escape. DJ Vika Kova spreads her message of love and peace and has great fun doing it! She is a resident DJ of the legendary Supperclub in Amsterdam, Club ByGanz (Middle East), Faberge (Russia), Urbanite (Asia) and is now started her own club concept called OneLOVE. As the voice of a producers duo 2Dirty, in 2009 she reached Nr. 1 on Dancetunes.com with “Climax in my Head”. Their next track “In the Army” has been released in 2010 on Mostiko Records. Vika’s latest creation, collaboration with producer/DJ Kasper Kwant, is called “Night Together” and is released on 29th of May on Omerta Records. Followers
